Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Preference for candidates located on the US East Coast / Eastern Time Zone or London.

About The Client

Our client is a global technology consulting and professional services organization helping enterprise companies modernize the way they work, build, and deliver technology.

Their teams sit at the intersection of strategy and delivery, partnering with senior technology leaders to turn complex business challenges into practical transformation roadmaps across software delivery, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, AI, and modern technology platforms.

The Role

We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to build and lead a modern, commercially focused global marketing organization for a high-growth B2B technology and professional services business.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working with Executive Leadership. You will define the global marketing strategy, strengthen the brand, accelerate demand generation, and establish marketing as a measurable driver of pipeline, revenue, customer growth, and enterprise value.

This role spans North America, EMEA, and APAC, and requires the ability to bring teams, systems, messaging, and go-to-market priorities together across regions.

Our Client is looking for Someone Who Can:

  • Define and execute a global marketing strategy aligned with commercial and long-term growth objectives.
  • Reposition and strengthen the brand around enterprise transformation, consulting, technology, and AI, moving beyond a traditional product/technology-focused message.
  • Build a high-performing global marketing organization, including structure, talent, operating model, accountability, and succession planning.
  • Establish marketing as a meaningful driver of pipeline and revenue growth, with clear measurement, attribution, ROI, and performance metrics.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Consulting, Delivery, and executive leadership to connect the customer journey, marketing, product development, and sales.
  • Harmonize marketing tools, processes, data, and practices across regions and an acquisitive/brown-field environment.
  • Evaluate and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem, including HubSpot and Salesforce, with a practical, budget-conscious approach.
  • Apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve marketing effectiveness, productivity, scalability, and customer engagement.
  • Improve the digital marketing footprint, including website, communications, thought leadership, and future analyst relations.
  • Evolve the events strategy toward higher-value activities such as executive roundtables, customer dinners, and advisory programs, with greater focus on ROI.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of customer needs and translate market intelligence into positioning, messaging, solutions, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Shift marketing communications from features and activities toward business outcomes, thought leadership, and measurable customer value.
  • Build stronger customer and executive relationships while focusing resources on high-value, profitable customer segments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant senior marketing leadership experience within global B2B technology, professional services, consulting, or SaaS.
  • Experience leading international marketing teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Proven success building or scaling marketing organizations through growth, transformation, or integration.
  • Strong breadth across brand, demand generation, digital marketing, marketing operations, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition, and ROI.
  • Experience in private equity-backed, acquisitive, or high-growth environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology, data, processes, and platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce. A clear point of view on how AI is changing modern marketing, with the ability to assess existing tools and rethink traditional approaches.
  • Strong international and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • An organizational leader who can establish structure, priorities, processes, and measurable outcomes while developing future marketing leaders.
  • Comfortable challenging existing thinking, influencing senior stakeholders, and implementing best practices.

Preferences

You are both a brand builder and organizational builder — someone who can establish a clear direction, bring teams together around priorities, create the infrastructure for scale, and consistently ask: What are we doing? Why? What is the result? What should we continue, stop, or change?

This is an opportunity for a senior marketing executive to have significant influence on the evolution of a global organization and its transition toward a more sophisticated, consulting-led, AI-enabled growth model.
