About The Client

Our client is a global technology consulting and professional services organization helping enterprise companies modernize the way they work, build, and deliver technology.

Their teams sit at the intersection of strategy and delivery, partnering with senior technology leaders to turn complex business challenges into practical transformation roadmaps across software delivery, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, AI, and modern technology platforms.

The Role

They are looking for a Director, AI-Enabled DevOps Transformation to help drive growth across a portfolio of strategic and enterprise accounts.

This is a highly visible, client-facing leadership role for someone who can operate comfortably with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, VPs of Engineering, and Platform leaders — someone who understands the technology deeply but can also connect that technology to business outcomes, commercial opportunities, and long-term transformation.

Our Client Expects You To;

  • Develop account strategies that expand relationships across software delivery transformation, AI-enabled development, DevOps, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Lead solutioning for complex enterprise pursuits, working closely with technical and consulting teams to shape compelling transformation engagement.
  • Translate business objectives into multi-year transformation roadmaps spanning SDLC modernization, AI-enabled delivery, DevOps, and cloud.
  • Shape and communicate target architectures covering CI/CD, security, compliance, resilience, automation, and AI capabilities throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Partner with delivery leadership to maintain quality, address escalations, and ensure that proposed solutions translate effectively into successful client outcomes
  • Represent the organization in executive briefings, QBRs, industry events, and strategic go-to-market activities
  • Mentor consultants and architects while helping evolve the organization’s broader AI-enabled SDLC and DevOps capabilities
  • Identify new-logo opportunities while expanding existing enterprise relationships and developing significant, multi-year engagements.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, systems integration, or enterprise technology, including at least 5 years in a client-facing leadership capacity.
  • A track record in roles such as Client Partner, Engagement Director, Practice Leader, Solutions Director, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of software delivery and SDLC modernization, including requirements, source control, CI/CD, test automation, release management, and value-stream metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI/LLM capabilities to software delivery or DevOps, such as AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, AI-driven testing, or intelligent IT operations.
  • Strong architectural understanding of DevOps and modern cloud environments, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Kubernetes/container platforms, infrastructure as code, and observability.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud and platform infrastructure, including networking, identity, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • An active senior-level cloud certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, or an equivalent certification in Azure or GCP.
  • Experience leading multi-million-dollar account portfolios and complex enterprise pursuits.
  • Strong executive presence, commercial instincts, consultative selling ability, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

Preferences

  • Experience working with modern enterprise collaboration, ITSM, software development, or work-management platforms.
  • Additional certifications such as Kubernetes, ITIL, SAFe, or infrastructure/cloud-focused credentials.
  • Experience scaling AI platform capabilities, including areas such as RAG, MCP, or agent orchestration.
  • Experience working with regulated or highly complex enterprise environments.
